MadBaxRC — Update 1: Suspension Arms and Steering Linkage

Two components have been redesigned based on real-world testing. If your current build is working fine, no action needed — these updates are for new builds or anyone experiencing failures.

Suspension Arms

There was a minor update.

Steering Linkage

I recommend upgrading to Rod Ends (ball links) for the steering linkage. They handle lateral forces more reliably and eliminate binding at full lock.

What to do:

  • Download the updated STL files (from your purchase)
  • Reprint the suspension arms (01-01-arms-03.3mf)
  • Replace the arms in your RC car

For the steering linkage upgrade:

  • Buy the rod ends
  • Print 01-05-steering-rod-end-joints-01.3mf
  • Put rod ends into joints and secure with two m2 8mm screws
  • Replace the old linkage with metal rod ends

No other parts need to change.
